Hulger were disillusioned with the inbuilt obsolescence and anonymity of mobile phones and wanted to create a lasting product with emotional attachment. The design draws inspiration from the classic phones of the 1920's. PENELOPE*PHONE has been acquired for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Arts in New York (MoMA).
